TWO PIECE IN ONE

Heart and mind are two entities,
For I wasn’t sure till eighteen.
Flickered it naught, whilst I walk.
For I was in one piece, till eighteen.

Stepped into the big bright world.
Bouldered I lay for two pieces unfurled.
Seemed I like a magnet, pulled by the poles;
Realized the game by the two pieces that unfurled.

Conversations seemed like a tangential walk,
Even after ten thousand sprints, I moved an inch not.
Compressed and cleared but nothing made way,
The two pieces still fought, so I moved an inch not.

Tides rose high and slammed against my head,
Sucked all the blood to lay cold and dead.
Reassured that “IT’S ALL IN MY HEAD”
Stood high till day, to never lay cold and dead.

  3. Excellent pa...!!What a standard in each phrase. I guess most of the readers here feel Ur poem to be true though it's different from eachother's perspective.
    I feel this manifests the impact of poems on readers, as it makes itself living from within...!!
