An Ally For Long

I stay still under a thousand stars;

Remembering all those thousand nights;

Wishing you were right beside,

To count all those times behind!

Long back then, when I was just Eight,

Told she a day, she lost her  'First'.

Time since then, I did muse

And bloomed his birth, in my heart! 

Starting from then, I dream of him,

From then till now, I live that dream. 

A fantasy for few, a reality for me.

Swayed these years, in my heart! 

Walking along until the horizon rest, 

Clinged to him through every test, 

Endless nights, we cackle for long, 

Sharing all my hearts plain-song. 

Solace I find in our own world. 

A brother to hold in every swril. 

Dead to all, you may be!

Departed to me, when I too be!
